Amber Fortowsky, BSW

Amber has been employed as a social worker in Saskatoon since 2008. She has worked for the Saskatchewan Health Authority as well as spent several years working in Mental Health and Addictions. Amber is currently working on her master’s degree in counselling through Yorkville University.

Amber has worked with clients from many different backgrounds and strives to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Her approach is non-judgemental and empathetic. Amber has experience working with clients who are facing mental health challenges, addictions, trauma and relationship difficulties.

Amber utilizes various modalities in her practice, such as strengths-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and solution-focused therapy, amongst others. Amber’s objective is to meet you where you’re at so we can work towards achieving your counselling goals.

In her personal life, Amber enjoys spending time with friends and family and pursuing her passion of nature and wildlife photography.
