Rachel Pelechaty
Occupational Therapist
Rachel was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2022, she moved to Edmonton to pursue her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. Upon graduating, Rachel returned to Saskatoon to begin her occupational therapy career in the fall of 2024.
Rachel has a special interest in sensory processing, fine and gross motor skill development, and co-regulation. She is passionate about supporting children in developing the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their daily lives. Rachel uses a neurodiversity-affirming and strength-based approach, creating a fun, play-based environment where therapy feels engaging, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and interests. She values collaboration with families and caregivers to ensure that therapy goals fit naturally into each child’s everyday routines.
Outside of the clinic, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She loves cooking and baking as a creative outlet and a way to unwind. Rachel is excited to be part of the Carter’s Counselling team and to help children reach their fullest potential through connection, creativity, and play.
